Your presentation at the PG conference last week was great -- what style, humor and warmth you have! Equally impactful as your delivery was your message, a reminder of which just came to me as I was thinking about how much I enjoy connecting with our community members and supporters. When I think of "development people" I am reminded of a quote from one of my favorite writers, Anne Sexton, when she finally had surrounded herself by like-minded poets: "These are my people." Patricia Stush, Director of Development
Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation **This session was exactly what I had hoped it would be, and Lynne did a fabulous job walking us through the process of how she designed the system, why she weighted various things the way she did, and how to use the system. This really was one of the best sessions, for me, of the entire conference. **This was really helpful - it at least gave me a starting point for measuring my donor relations work, although I am not sure if I will use the exact same system. Lynne was one of the best presenters there - very personable, knowledgeable and entertaining. **LIFE CHANGING SESSION! Bravo to Lynne - she was a great presenter, she was incredibly knowledgeable, willing to assist and answer a multitude of questions -and patient! Her metrics can be applied to the various organizations that are members of ADRP. **This was by far the session I got the most out of - was nice to end on such a high note. Lynne's approach takes traditional quantifying of DR/Stewardship work (counting the number of fund reports sent, acknowledgment letters done, etc) to the next level with her point system and positively positions the value and alignment of our work with fundraisers and within the overall development arena/office. **This presentation appeared to rock the world of every attendee! Kudos to Lynne for a great presentation and the first really practical model I have seen for applying value and measurable impact of stewardship activities. It is providing really useful fodder for discussion in my office. **Awesome! Saved the best session for last! It was truly fresh and pioneering work, Lynne presented wonderfully. Room was very engaged! |
